This is a great accessory for all Sport HD cameras, and works well with Contour, Drift and GoPro models. See the photos for examples of all these cameras in use with the Ultrapod Mini. This is for all those occasions when you want to use your camera for 'other' things... like recording an event as a spectator, or anything else. If you want to get exotic, I'm sure you'll find the long velcro strap allows you to attach you camera to all sorts of things.

It works out of the box with most cameras, but with the Contour and the GoPro you will need a Universal/Tripod adapter if you don't already own one (you can add these to the basket when purchasing if you need one).

The UltraPod® Mini is a small, lightweight portable camera tripod, injection molded in translucent "edge glow" polycarbonate resin with aluminum threaded components. It features sturdy, fold-out legs, a unique ball and socket camera mount assembly, and a strong Velcro® strap for securing to tree limbs, railings, pack frames, or other similar objects. Folds to a compact 4″ length that fits easily into a shirt pocket. The feet of the UltraPod are covered with non-slip vinyl, preventing the tripod from moving. Designed for use with compact cameras, remote flashes, video lights, etc.  

The UltraPod Mini is a modified, “fun” version of the UltraPod I—the same basic design, except the legs are slightly shorter and trimmed at an angle like the UltraPod II.
